, it's pretty obvious who wins the Funniest Non-New Zealand Native award on the show: the Kiwi comic folk duo's #1 (and seemingly only) fan, Mel.
Mel's hyper-intensive love for all things Conchords is played to creepy perfection by comedienne/actress

who just happens to have grown up on a farm in Longmont.
