En Plein Air Watercolor Workshop Series

What:	This series of classes will take advantage of our beautiful Colorado scenery 'au natural.' We will conduct the class each week outside in a different location within the Longmont area. I will begin each class with a demo. We will look at creating a statement, telling a story, creating mood and simplification. We will look at not only what to paint, but what to leave out. I will instruct in creating good design and color theory, as well as mingling techniques and value-all while taking in our beautiful Colorado surroundings. You will then create your own painting, with my one-on-one guidance. If you are persistent, you should leave each session with a painting. Teresa Smith has studied art for most of her life and is a signature member of the Northwest Artist Association. She is well known nationally for her landscapes, florals, and equine art, which are sold as cards, prints, and gift items.
