Basic Motorcycle Maintenance
Contributed by: Dennis DuBe on 4/17/2008

What:
You ride it and you wash it. Would you like to learn more about maintaining your motorcycle? Both dirt and street bikes require similar maintenance. Your owners manual tells you what you should be doing. This class explains why and follows up with hands-on practice so you know how. Tools are provided. For less than an hour's worth of shop time, this class will teach you how to safely and accurately adjust your brakes, clutch, chain, fluids and more. We're not going to swap out engines, install superchargers or add any extra gear, but we will cover everything you can do without voiding the warranty. Ride your bike to class if you like. Did we mention you can save a bundle doing your own maintenance?
Ron Korsch has been riding and maintaining motorcycles for over 35 years. Ron combines his passion for riding and his engineering background into this class. He believes your whole motorcycle experience will be enhanced when you know how your motorcycle works, how to maintain it and how to fix it.
