Homebrew Beer

What:	Have you ever thought about brewing your own beer and wondered how to get started? Learn just how easy it is to make your very own homebrew and enjoy the fruits of your labors. Topics covered include: beer basics, overview of beer styles, and beginner/intermediate brewing techniques. You will gain hands-on experience with the entire brewing process ? from recipe creation to brewing and on to bottling. There will be 5, 3-hour class sessions. We will make 2 different batches of beer which you get to take home at the end of the class. Students must be 21 or older. Class limited to eight people - so sign up now! Please bring $10 to the first class for supplies. Best $10 you'll ever spend. Don Blake has been an avid homebrewer since 1993. Experimenting in various techniques and beer styles, this Chicago native has built a broad practical knowledge of brewing beer, mead, and wine. Don has been active in various homebrew clubs in the Longmont area and jointly holds the Colorado high altitude brewing record, having brewed a barleywine atop Mt. Elbert.
