What:	Girls hike with their mom or dad and have fun exploring alpine terrain while practicing basic map and compass navigation, learning how to pack for mountain weather conditions, and gaining skills for future adventures together. Look forward to dramatic views, sparkling lakes, a picnic lunch and sharing stories with other daughter-parent pairs. Cost: $150 includes all food and equipment For daughters age 8 and up, and parents (or grandparents) of all ages. Financial aid available for girls. Offered by the Women's Wilderness Institute, 303.938.9191, www.womenswilderness.org.
