Hiking with Llamas for Women

What:	Enjoy hiking with just a day pack as you explore Colorado's stunning Rawah Wilderness and Medicine Bow Mountain Range. Traverse this scenic high country of U-shaped glacier-carved valleys, glistening lakes and dramatic peaks. Develop the skills to venture out on trips of your own, including route finding, safety considerations for summit attempts, fundamental backcountry camping, cooking and packing techniques. Llamas are friendly, group-oriented, low-impact trail partners that can comfortably carry 70 pounds each, blissfully lightening your load. Offered by The Women's Wilderness Institute. Enroll online at womenswilderness.org or call 303.938.9191. The cost for this course is $425 and includes all food and equipment. Participants will meet at TWWI offices at 5732 Arapahoe Ave. in Boulder, CO. They will then travel to the course location.
