The City of Longmont Recreation Services and Renaissance Adventure Guieds have partnered to offer teen/ youth kayak camps in Longmont. Gear and professional instruction from Renaissance Adventure Guides is provided. This course introduces kids to kayaking in the fun and controlled environments of a lake and class I rivers. They will learn all the basic kayaking skills through the use of interactive games. No prior experience required. You will need to bring a sack lunch and plenty of water. Your choice of a 2, 3 or 5 day camp. Days one and two are spent at Union Reservoir, days 3, 4 and 5 are spent on the river.
