Contributed by: Liz Neafus-Stenzel on 11/29/2007

Cerebral Palsy of Colorado is a qualifying organization for the Colorado Child Care Tax Credit. This tax credit allows for a 50% credit toward your State of Colorado income tax liability up to $100,000 annually. This tax credit is available for individuals and businesses, and any unused portion of the tax credit may be carried forward for up to five years. Attached are some sample contribution amounts and the actual net cost of that donation after Federal and State of Colorado income tax deductions and Colorado Child Care Tax Credits have been applied. Take a close look at the significant difference between your contribution and the actual net cost of that contribution. This tax credit is a very important feature to many individuals and companies and an important revenue source for Cerebral Palsy of Colorado to provide the programs and services it offers.

This tax credit is substantial and has allowed individuals and businesses to increase their levels of giving to CP of Colorado. Your contribution provides an opportunity for future generations to receive the care available from CP of Colorado and reduces your State of Colorado tax liability. For more information please call Liz Neafus-Stenzel at 303-691-9339 x 1163, email lizns@cpco.org or visit www.cpco.org. We recommend you consult your tax advisor to assess your individual or business situation. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated.
