ASTD Presents Accelerated Learning Workshop June 6, 7:30 a.m. to noon

Event covers how cutting-edge model makes learning
quicker, more efficient and enjoyable for participants,
capturing their hearts and minds

The Northern Rockies Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development is pleased to present "Accelerated Learning: More than just music and games." The workshop will be held Friday, June 6 from 7:30 a.m. to noon at Loveland's BestWesternCrossroadsInn & ConferenceCenter at I-25 and US-34. Presenters are Gail Heidenhain of Delphin International and Michael Rothschild of Rothschild Associates.

Corporations around the world have reported impressive savings of time and money by moving to an Accelerated Learning model of training. Everyone who trains anyone wants their programs, to engage the learner, and capture both their minds and hearts. When you experience Accelerated Learning, you will realize how it enhances learning for all participants in fun and meaningful ways. You'll be able to integrate these techniques into your own training programs, whether you teach adults, teens or children.

Accelerated Learning uses games, simulations, music and many other creative activities to reach the different types of learners we find in our classes or groups. Diverse learning activities help create success faster and more efficiently than traditional training approaches. Learners develop a higher level of mastery in a shorter timeframe.

During this highly interactive workshop, participants will learn using the Accelerated Learning model, see it presented, understand how it developed, hear its different elements, and experience all its aspects through active participation. This workshop will enable attendees to consistently create powerful learning events that produce successful, meaningful, long-lasting results.

The cost is $75 for ASTD members and $90 for non-members before June 3. On June 3, all registrations are $100. A special price has been arranged for students who should contact Diana for registration information. A Continental Breakfast is included. To register or for more information, go to www.astd-nrc.org, or call Diana at (970) 217-9285.
