"Death by Chocolate," a classic murder-mystery to be performed by the highly-acclaimed Platte Valley Players theater troupe

"Death by Chocolate" is a classic "who-done-it" theatrical experience interwoven with both caustic humor and bone-tingling intrigue. The scene is set at the Meadowbrook Health Resort. The resort's new owner, Lady Riverdale, has enjoyed previous success with her highly acclaimed, Lady Riverdale Chocolates. This socialite has planned for re-opening the resort soon after the original founder died a very unexpected and suspicious death. Was it a suicide... the consequences of bad business and personal misfortune? Or was it a calculated cold-blooded murder? And what do chocolates have to do with it?

Join the non-stop action as everyone has a story to tell ... anyone could be the next victim ... and no one is above reproach.

Two weekend performances will be directed by Angela Astle and performed by the Platte Valley Players. The theatrical troupe is coming off their highly acclaimed performance of "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown." Once again, all performances will be held at the new state-of-the-art theater located at the Prairie View High School campus. It is located at 12909 East 120th Avenue in Henderson.

Performance dates are May 25th, 26th and 27th and again on June 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Friday and Saturday curtain calls are at 7:30 p.m. with matinee performances on Sundays at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for students and seniors 55 and over. Tickets may be purchased at the door, or obtained in advance at Beattie's Community Pharmacy, Brighton Animal Clinic or from any Platte Valley Players member.
