Safeway Presents $25,000 to Tornado Victims

Safeway stores in Northern Colorado raised funds for the American Red Cross' tornado relief effort during a week long in-store fundraiser.

The Safeway Foundation matched the funds and presented the American Red Cross with a Giant Gift card for $25,000. Per the request of the American Red Cross, the funds were distributed in $25 dollar gift cards and distributed to 1,000 tornado victims.
