You Should Be Taking Supplements

Supplementation is a topic that I get asked about daily. The standard American diet, sometimes abbreviated "SAD", lacks proper nutrients. Food processing and poor soil conditions due to pesticides deplete foods of nutrients. Many of our food choices are based upon convenience, meaning we choose foods that are quick and easy to prepare. These are often the foods that severely lack nutritive qualities. Many of these deficiencies can be made up through proper supplementation. Supplementation should be individualized, however the following supplements are a few that everyone should consider. Please discuss with a health care practitioner to ensure safety.
