New FDA cleared ruptured disc repair, no surgery
Contributed by: Tom Stanzel on 2/27/2007

Local Longmont doctors treat herniated and bulging discs, Sciatica and serious low back pain without back surgery. No documented side effects with a high success rate.

Surgeons perform an estimated 300,000 to 400,000 back surgeries every year. Annually, neurosurgeons perform at least 100,000 operations for lumbar disc disease alone, and orthopedic surgeons perform a similar number. It is estimated that between 20% and 40% of these operations are unsuccessful.

That is why doctors from all over the country are racing to acquire and get trained to operate the DRX9000™...an FDA cleared device that is saving thousands of Americans suffering from chronic back pain from going under the knife.

Dr. Tom Stanzel, DC and Dr. Scott Hessler, DC who treats serious back pain without surgery explains how the DRX9000™ works.

" The technology was developed by a team of physicians who modeled the system after an accidental discovery from the US space exploration program. It's being called the 'orthopedic advancement of the century' and is the answer to many low back pain suffers prayers," Hessler says.

"The automated system they developed (DRX 9000) has the capability of decompressing discs by creating a "vacuum" effect, which actually sucks disc material back into the disc, allowing it to heal," says Hessler. "The result is relief of pressure on the spinal nerves. Thanks to the DRX9000™, disc herniation sufferers finally have a non-surgical solution."

The main conditions the DRX 9000 has documented success with are back pain, sciatica, herniated and/or bulging discs (single or multiple), degenerative disc disease, facet syndromes and a relapse or failure following back surgery.

First of all, the title says "ruptured disc". That is false. It is not designed for ruptured discs, once they rupture, they can't 'lose the bulge' like a herniated or swollen disc. I paid thousands of dollars for this procedure in Ft. Collins about 4 years ago, and did it again in Phoenix 2 years ago. Empty of wallet and absolutely not one bit better. I believe the reason for this might be because another MRI revealed that my L4-L5 was ruptured, cracked open, burst. It no longer held fluid. It dissintegrated. This procedure MIGHT help a person with a bulging disc, to open up the vertebrae and try to get the swelling down, but once that disc is ruptured, I can assure you from personal experience that it doesn't help.
