We are so fortunate to live in this wonderful area of Colorado. We all need to slow down sometimes and as they say 'smell the roses.'
I love to roam the backroads near the foothills looking for places that inspire me, that touch my soul, with the beauty and infinite complexity of nature that surrounds us.
They say "time flies" and as you reach your later years,  time seems to fly by at an ever-increasing rate. Life is not as much what you put into it but what you get out of it. Stopping long enough to see the birds and the trees and all the little details are what makes the journey worth going on.
