Woman won't turn her music down A 39-year-old Longmont woman was arrested at 12:16 a.m. April 8 on the 0-99 block of 15
th Avenue on suspicion of domestic violence and third-degree assault. Officers were called to the residence on a disturbance. When they arrived, a man told officers that his wife attacked him after he asked her to turn her music down. The woman claimed the man had attacked her, but she did not have any injuries and the man did. The man also told police that the woman had just been released from jail and he was trying to be a man and "just take it" but he didn't want to put up with her behavior any longer. The woman was held at the Boulder County Jail.
Man arrested for domestic violenceA 30-year-old Longmont man was arrested at 9:49 p.m. April 8 in Longmont on suspicion of child abuse, contempt of court, criminal mischief and domestic violence. Officers were called to a report of the man and a woman fighting at a residence. When they arrived, the woman told police they had been fighting because she let a friend move into their home and the man wanted the friend to leave. The woman said the man had also been arguing with the friend, and in the process, kicked and broke a window in the house. The man was arrested and held at the Boulder County Jail.
Woman arrested, kicks officer A 44-year-old Longmont woman was arrested at 3:32 a.m. April 4 at the intersection of South Hover Street and Nelson Road on suspicion of criminal impersonation, second-degree assault while in custody and hitchhiking. An officer on patrol witnessed the woman walking along Nelson Road, attempting to flag down a street sweeper. When contacted, the woman told the officer that she was trying to get a ride home. She reportedly gave the officer a false name and was drunk. When she was taken into the Longmont Police Department for booking, she demanded her purse back. When the officer wouldn't give it to her, she reportedly kicked him. She was held at the Boulder County Jail.
Woman asks cop if he wants to have sex with her A 24-year-old Longmont woman was arrested at 2:48 a.m. April 8 at Centennial Pool, 1251 Alpine St., on suspicion of driving under the influence. An officer on patrol saw the woman driving a car in the parking lot of the complex. When she was contacted, the woman was reportedly drunk and had an open bottle of whiskey on the front passenger seat. The woman told the officer, "Can't you just let me go and forget this?" While she was performing roadside maneuvers, she also told the officer, "You already know I'm drunk. Is this what you want? To (expletive) me?" After transporting her to the Longmont holding facility, she repeatedly asked officers if they wanted to have sex with her. She was held at the Boulder County Jail.
Man arrested for harassment at 7-11
An 18-year-old Longmont man was arrested at 2:40 p.m. April 8 at the Longmont Police Station, 225 Kimbark St., for a harassment and first-degree criminal trespass that allegedly occurred at 9:25 p.m. March 18 at the 7-11 at 841 Ken Pratt Blvd. On March 18, an officer responded to a fight call at the 7-11. The victim told officers that when he pulled up in front of the store, a man came up to his car, told him to get out and grabbed him. He told officers that he and the man used to be friends. The officer later called the man to tell him to turn himself in, which he finally did on April 8. The man was released on a summons.
