Blotter: "I may have lost my mind."

"I MAY HAVE LOST MY MIND"

A 37-year-old Longmont woman was arrested at 11:24 p.m. July 7 at LongmontUnitedHospital, 1950 Mountain View Ave., on suspicion of three counts of reckless endangerment, three counts of third-degree assault, retaliation against a witness and criminal mischief. Officers were called to a house in Longmont where the woman was throwing rocks and breaking windows. The victim told police that the woman had been making threats toward her and her children, telling them that she was going to get a gun. The victim was reportedly in her living room when rocks started coming through the windows. One of the children was reportedly sitting in a chair in the living room when the falling glass cut her several times on the arm. The woman, who was taken to LongmontUnitedHospital for her injuries, told officers there that "I may have lost my mind." The woman's husband was reportedly the person who initially contacted police. The woman was medically cleared and held at the Boulder County Jail.

WOMAN WRITES BAD CHECK TO CHURCH

A 38-year-old Lafayette woman was arrested at 9:10 a.m. July 9 at the Longmont Police Station, 225 Kimbark St., on suspicion of a check fraud incident that occurred on Feb. 22. The woman reportedly bought $600 worth of King Soopers gift cards from St. John the BaptistChurch in Longmont with a bad check. According to police, the account had been closed after being open for only eight days. The witness at the church couldn't positively identify the woman, but the woman had a criminal history for writing another bad check to a church in Lafayette. When officers finally contacted the woman, she told them she was currently unemployed and needed the gift cards to buy food for her 15-year-old son. She was held at the Boulder County Jail.

MAN SWINGS AT OFFICER, GETS TASERED

A 25-year-old Longmont man was arrested at 8:30 p.m. June 26 on the 1900 block of Meadow Drive on suspicion of second-degree criminal trespassing, disorderly conduct, obstructing a police officer and resisting arrest. Officers were called to the residence on the report of a disturbance. When they arrived, the owner said the man, her uncle, had been drinking at her house all day and wanted to fight another man who was at the residence. When the officers contacted the man, he shouted expletives at them and took a swing at an officer. They wrestled the man to the ground and tasered him. He was held at the Boulder County Jail.

GIRL ATTACKS WITNESSES

A 15-year-old Longmont girl was arrested at 10:04 p.m. July 7 at the Longmont Police Station, 225 Kimbark St., on suspicion of a third-degree assault and child abuse that happened at 10:15 p.m. June 30 at Wal-Mart, 2514 Main St. Two witnesses told police that the girl contacted them in the parking lot of the store. The girl was mad because her mom was fighting over custody with one of the victim's boyfriends. The girl then attacked them, pulling their hair and hitting them in the face. The woman then ran to a car, where someone was waiting for her, and they drove off together. The girls reported being witnesses in a case against the mother. The girl turned herself into police later and was held at the Boulder County Juvenile Detention Facility.

MAN CALLS EX FROM JAIL, REARRESTED

A 20-year-old Fort Collins man was arrested at 9 a.m. July 7 at the Boulder County Jail on suspicion of four counts of violating a protection. A woman called police and reported that the man had called her collect four times from jail. The woman had a restraining order against the man, who was being held on a domestic violence charge against the woman. The woman told police that she wouldn't accept charges from the man. The man was rearrested at the Boulder County Jail and was held.
