Woman hits boyfriend with glass
A 51-year-old Longmont woman was arrested at 12 p.m. July 14 on the 800 block of Summerhawk Drive on a domestic violence charge, assault with a second-degree deadly weapon and child abuse. When officers arrived, they heard screaming from the apartment and a woman stumbling out the door wearing a shirt, but no pants muttering unintelligible words and appearing intoxicated. Inside the apartment they found her boyfriend shirtless with blood stains on his chest and a laceration on the back of his head. He also smelled like alcohol. He told officers he and his girlfriend got into a fight. She hit him several times and he pushed her back. She then threw a glass of water at him, hitting him in the back of the head. Her juvenile son saw the incident. The man was transported to the hospital for stitches and so was the woman because she thought she might have broken her hand. She was then taken to Boulder County Jail.
Husband hits wife five to 10 times
A 33-year-old Longmont man was arrested at 8 p.m. July 14 at the Longmont Police Department on suspicion of domestic violence that was reported at 9 p.m. the previous day and occurred on the1400 block of Sout Collyer Street. When officers arrived, they found a woman with an ice pack on her left eye. She said it was a misunderstanding and said her husband hit her. She told officers that earlier that night her husband got drunk at a party they attended. She didn't know why he was mad when they returned home, but he hit her five to 10 times. She said her husband gets upset when her kids are around because he doesn't like kids. She said he pushes her, but has never hit her. The woman had bruises on her arm from a prior fight. The man turned himself in the next day. The man told officers he got mad because his wife was flirting with another man at the party. He said when they returned home, his wife kicked holes in the wall and kicked him, so he grabbed her and took her to the ground and she hit her head on the counter. He denied any previous abuse. The man was booked and taken to the Boulder County Jail.

A 47-year-old Longmont woman was arrested at 5:45 p.m. July 12 on the 700 block of Rees Court on suspicion of domestic violence and third-degree assault. An officer was called to the Longmont Community Treatment Center, 236 Main St., by a case worker. The case worker told the officer a man and a woman came in. The man had taken the woman to work to pick up her paycheck when he became agitated with her and accused her of having sex with her boss. The man than allegedly hit the woman in the parking lot of her work. The woman told the caseworker they were fighting and when she tried to exit the car, the man pulled her hair and hit her in the face again. When officers contacted the man at his mother's house, he told them the woman hit herself in the face to get him in trouble. He was held at the Boulder County Jail.
Underage man drinks, drives into fence
An 18-year-old Longmont man was arrested at 12:41 a.m. July 1 on the 1700 block of Collyer Street on suspicion of underage possession of alcohol, driving with a restrained driver's license, driving under the influence, unsafe backing and leaving the scene of a hit and run. An officer was dispatched to a call of a hit and run. The victim told the officer the man had crashed his car into his fence. When the victim approached the man, the man told the man not to worry about it, and then drove off, striking the fence again as he drove off. The officer was on patrol later that night when he saw the man driving 50 mph in a 25 mph zone with his headlights off. When contacted, the man said he believed he only ran into a trashcan. The officer found empty beer cans in the man's car. The man later blew a 0.169 on a Breathalyzer test. He was held at the Boulder County Jail.

An officer was dispatched to a domestic violence call. When the officer arrived, he saw the woman holding the victim on the hood of a car. The victim told the officer the woman was her lover and was drunk. The woman reportedly yelled at the woman, choked her and hit her in the face when the victim tried to get away. The victim also said the woman bit her on the arm. When the officer attempted to arrest the woman, she started yelling at the officer, saying she was going to sue him.
