On Sunday, February 25, 2007, sometime in the late afternoon, a 28-year old developmentally disabled woman was sexually assaulted at the Longmont Recreation Center located at 310 Quail Road. The suspect befriended the victim inside the Center and eventually lured her into the men's locker room where he sexually assaulted her in a bathroom stall.
On March 6, 2007, Longmont Police released a composite drawing of a sexual assault suspect along with a drawing of a tattoo seen on the suspect's upper left arm. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, 30 to 40 years old, 5'02", thin build with black hair and a mustache/goatee. He wore a blue tank top and black shorts. The tattoo is described as double overlapping "Hearts" located on the suspect's left upper arm/shoulder.
Since, the victim has identified a suspect from surveillance video taken at the Longmont Recreation Center on the day of the assault (2/25/07).
The suspect appears in the photos wearing black pants, a black long sleeve sweatshirt, and a dark baseball cap.
He is seen with two other males: one with a white t-shirt, hat, and carrying a red duffle bag; the other with dark pants, and a light blue athletic type jersey with white writing across the chest, dark hair.
