MAN ASKS OFFICER IF HE WANTS TO BE BURIED
At approximately 12:01 a.m. March 6, two officers were dispatched to 2128 Lake Park Drive in regards to a disturbance. A witness reported that his son, a 22-year-old Longmont man, was punching holes in the walls of his residence. Upon arrival, it was confirmed that the 22-year-old had an active felony warrant for burglary and a protection order that prohibited him from drinking alcohol. The man's father said his son had come home intoxicated and angry and began punching walls. After the father led officers to the man's bedroom, he pretended to sleep while the officers shined a flashlight in his face and turned the light on. There was a reportedly strong odor of alcohol in the room. When the officers identified themselves to the man, he ignored them and yelled for his dad to bring him water. The officers handcuffed the man with no resistance. As they led him down the hall, he yelled at his dad to call his work and tell them he wouldn't be making it. When they made it down the stairs, one officer picked up the man's shoes. He quickly said, "I'm not (expletive) going outside without my shoes on." The officer placed the man's shoes in front of him. As they approached the door, the man leaned forward, turned to his right and his head struck the open front door. He then accused the officer of hitting him with the door and yelled at his father to call his lawyer. As the man was being transported directly to Boulder County Jail, he told the officer that his head was bleeding from when the officer hit him. According to the report, the man had no injuries on his head. He told the officer he would be out of jail in 20 minutes and that that his father owned a construction company and asked the officer if he wanted to be buried. The man repeatedly told the officer he was going to kill him - even if he had to wait four years to do it. He was arrested on suspicion of second-degree burglary and violation of a protection order and held at Boulder County Jail.

19-YEAR-OLD CLAIMS HE'S 26
At approximately 12:30 p.m. March 4, two officers were traveling east on Ninth Avenue and Martin Street when they spotted a car traveling west on Ninth Avenue without a front license plate. After pulling the driver over at Ninth Avenue and Bowen Street and asking the man for his information, he told the officer he had no driver's license. When the officer asked the man for his name, age and address, the man said he was 26. After running the given information, it was found the he was really a 19-year-old Longmont man. They repeatedly asked the man to confirm his age, but he kept saying he was 26. He was arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle with a suspended driver's license. As officers searched the man's car, they found a grinder with suspected marijuana residue, a suspected marijuana cigarette and a box of fireworks. While the officers were booking and fingerprinting the man at the Longmont Police Department, he finally admitted to being 19. The officers performed a secondary search on the man and found rolling papers and $63 cash after he denied having drugs or drug paraphernalia on him or inside the vehicle. He was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana. When asked if he was in a gang, he said he was a "sureno." The man was booked and released on a summons.

SUICIDAL MAN WITH FIREARM ARRESTED
At approximately 7:35 a.m. March 4, two officers were dispatched to 49 Placer Ave. in regards to a suicidal party. While en route, communications aired to the officers that the call came in as a 911 hang-up from a cell phone. When communications called the man back and asked him if he had any weapons, he said he had a gun. They asked the man to put his hands up and walk outside of the house where officers were located and the man agreed. Upon the officers' arrival, two other officers already had the man in custody and were checking him for weapons. One initial officer to the scene advised one of the second officers that the man was very intoxicated. The other initial officer to the scene searched the house and found a shotgun in the yard with one shell approximately 10-feet way from the shotgun. The man was taken to the Longmont Police Department for booking, then transported to Boulder County Jail. The 55-year-old Longmont man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

MAN ARRESTED FOR CONCEALED WEAPONS WARRANT
At approximately 11:10 a.m. March 5, an officer responded to the lobby of the Longmont Safety and Justice Center at the request of another officer who had contacted a 26-year-old Longmont man involved in a hit-and-run accident. It was found that the man had a warrant out of Broomfield City and County for FTC-concealed weapons charges for 10 days jail time. The man was placed into custody in the police department parking lot, booked and transferred to Boulder County Jail. He was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court.

WOMAN CAUGHT FOR THREE DRUG-RELATED WARRANTS
At 10 p.m. March 5, an officer responded to another officer's request for a cover unit at 1129 Purdue Drive in reference to a theft case he was working. The initial officer to the scene had contacted two people and arrested a man in reference to the case. The second officer to the scene approached a 22-year-old woman standing in the driveway of the residence, who was going to give the man's personal property to the officer. The officer asked the woman for her name, and it was found that she had a warrant out of Boulder County for failure to appear on possession of drug paraphernalia at a $9,000 bond, a warrant out of Weld County for failure to appear on dangerous drugs at a $10,000 bond and a warrant out of Boulder County for contempt of court on a controlled substance at a $5,000 bond. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Longmont Police Department where she was booked and later transported to Boulder County Jail.
