Bank robbery at Wells Fargo on June 26


On 06/26/2009 at 2:33 pm a white male entered Wells Fargo bank inside of Safeway at 1050 Pratt Boulvevard during business hours. He verbally told the bank teller to give him money. No weapons were displayed. The suspect was handed an undisclosed amount of money and fled the bank.

The suspect is described as a white male with a goatee, approximately 30-35 years of age. He was described as being about 5'05" in height with a skinny build. He was wearing a camoflauged ball cap and sunglasses. The cap may have metal self made decorations on the front of the cap. the suspect had had on a dark long-sleeved, three-buttoned collarless shirt and blue jean pants. He had a bright blue backpack. This robbery may be related to the robbery at Advantage Bank in Boulder earlier today.

The FBI and Crimestopper are offering a rewards for any information that may assist us in identifying this suspect. The suspect came in and left through the front of the Safeway store exits. We are hoping a customer in the shopping area saw this suspect and the vehicle he most likely left in.
