The woman had a scratch on her nose. When police went to house where the party was held, the host said some girls got into a fight over boys and a purse and had pulled each other's hair and broken bottles, but he didn't know about a man punching the woman. The 21-year-old man denied hitting the girl. A neighbor who called police to complain about the noise verified the woman's account.
