Flowering Fuzzies Need Loving Homes!
Contributed by: Kitty L Angell on 5/29/2008

It may be a peaceful spring for some Colorado residents this year. However, at Almost Home Adoptions for rescued cats, things have suddenly become a lot busier, because kitten season has blossomed in a fuzzy flurry of adorable purr-y cats and kittens. New felines are arriving from near and far, many lost or abandoned. Some kittens have lost their mother and need special feeding and care to keep them alive.

Many of these mothers and kittens have been well nurtured in foster care, and now they are healthy and ready for loving homes, where they will be cared for and adored for the rest of their lives. Almost Home Adoptions is brimming over with kittens that will be ready for adoption.

Among these darlings, you will meet Lark, a smart and expressive little boy who loves to be snuggled and petted. His brothers and sisters include Wren, a quiet and fluffy little girl who loves to sit in your lap and purr. Marina is the fluffy, protective torbie kitten who watches over the rest of her litter-mates and loves to greet people, where she can get some extra attention and play-time. This shy but playful Maine Coon pair, Kohl and Chai, are also playful and easy to enjoy. There are many sweet kittens like this available, each with a unique personality and with individual reasons that we hope will win them loving forever homes.

While kittens have their own adorable qualities, it is helpful to remember that love is a lifetime commitment. Kittens grow up to be adult cats who also require and deserve love and care from their human companions. Almost Home Adoptions also houses many adult cats who need a loving forever home. These cats also offer their own unique blend of personality and beauty to win their way into your hearts and homes.

Cheyenne was found by the side of the highway in a carrier that had been left overnight in the rain. As soon as she arrived at Almost Home Adoptions, she began to talk and purr, knowing she was in the hands of people who would love and care for her. This beautiful tortoiseshell has stunning golden eyes, soft fur, and a very affectionate personality. She will talk to you when you walk in the room, reminding you that she's there waiting for your attention. You can also meet many mother cats whose kittens have been adopted, as well as teenage to adult males. These beautiful felines are still waiting for their forever homes.

If you are looking for feline companionship, please stop by Almost Home Adoptions to meet our Springtime bloom of cats and kittens who are waiting for you to take them into your loving homes!

Almost Home Adoptions for rescued cats is a non-profit, cage-free, volunteer, donation-based, no-kill organization that dedicates time to saving endless amounts of homeless cats and kittens. All of these animals have been tested for FeLV/FIV, vaccinated, and most importantly, spayed/neutered to help control our nation's pet population and prevent the senseless euthanization of animals due to lack of shelter space. In addition to adoptive families, we are also looking for volunteers to help out at the shelter and/or foster the young, sick or injured. Almost Home Adoptions for rescued cats is located at 7713 W. 92nd Avenue, Westminster CO 80021. Please call (303) 432-2299 or visit the Center's website www.almosthomeadoptions.com for more information. And of course, donations are always welcome and greatly appreciated.
