Love fills the suite
Contributed by: donna wetzbarger on 8/5/2007

Lt. Taylor Wetzbarger, CU grad and newly wed, combines his love of the Rockies, Colorado and his wonderful wife Audrey as he returns to Boulder from Ft. Bragg, NC to marry before his 2nd deployment to Iraq Oct 20, 2007.

His block leave preceding his deployment allows for him to view just one game on August 22.
Please award him and his bride of August 18, 2007 , the joy of viewing the Rockies in Colorado along with his immediate family and friends, in a suite at Coors Field. This will be his last opportunity before a 15 month deployment to serve his country for the second time in Iraq. THis willl be a special memory for his bride and immediate family who are all huge fans.
Every time Lt Wetzbarger returns to Colorado, he searches for available dates to see his HOME Team.
The August 22nd date will be his final night in Colorado with his family of Longmont along with the bride's family to see the game together and make long lasting memories to support him as he leaves for Iraq on Oct. 22 from Ft. Bragg , NC.
The brides" family are former Longmont residents who now live in Portland, Oregon, but their love of the Rockies continues across the miles. They are traveling to Longmont for the marriage of Taylor and his bride Audrey and would
relish the evening of the 22nd to see the Rockies once more.
Taylor's immediate family in Longmont follows the Rockies daily. His father, Dale, is a bond commissioner for the Boulder County Courts. He recently had hip replacement surgery and can only v iew the games on tv, By the August 22 game, Dale would be able to attend the game on crutches with his son of whom he is most proud for serving his country in the US ARMY.
During the series with the Yankees, Dale was unable to attend the games, but faithfully viewed them on TV. This was a true boon to him as a distraction from the pain of his hip. On the 22nd, he would be able to accompany his son Taylor in fine fashion with his in laws as the two families merge for this wonderful event at Coors Field; Taylor's sibling and his bride's siblings will be able to feel the excitement of Coors Field together in the August evening.
The bonds formed in sports are long lasting and recreate the bonds formed in families and the military. This experience of sharing a Rockies suite on a wonderful August night with family and friends will be a once in a life time event , especially with Taylor deploying in October. Please give us the highest consideration in your wonderful contest. Many thanks.
Taylor will see THe Rockies play before he leaves Colorado!!!!! His love for his bride, his state, and the Colorado Rockies will prevail on August 22 and create wonderful memories to carry him through his impending deployment to Iraq.
