Mile High Magic
Contributed by: jesus salazar on 1/19/2006

In a year that Denver was projected to finish no better than third in there own divison and most likely missing the playoffs entireley. The broncos not only shocked all the local media but the national media as well by coming out of the AFC West  with not only a divison title but a 13-3 record and a second seed going into the playoffs. In a divison that has the likes of superstars Randy Moss, l.Tomlinson, Preist holmes, Trent Green, and Drew Brees. Denver seemed to have a sub par team at best, and with denver picking up four former cleveland browns and 3 rookie cornerbacks in the NFL draft. It look like denver was going to watch the playoffs on Tv this post season. But no one in there right mind could of guessed what happened next. After getting throtled in Miami by the dolphins, a so called push over in the NFL. Denver would go on to win 14 of the next 16 games they played, including knocking off the two time defending super bowl champion New England Patriots in the first round of the playoffs. Denver did it with four cast offs from Cleveland, two rookie cornerbacks, and a quarter back that seems to make as many mistakes as he does good plays. Now the once thought of  sub par Denver Broncos are now one win away from super bowl 40. And with dystany on there side due to the colts losing last sunday, the road to the suber bowl goes through denver. The Bus stops here for Pittsburgh Steelers.     Denver 34 Pittsburgh 17
