Adrian Gonzalez, 17, of Longmont works on a car at the Career Development Center, 1200 S. Sunset Street in Longmont Jan. 27. Gonzalez is the president of the Triple Threat Race team based out of the career center.

The team is considered an athletic activity sanctioned by the St. Vrain School district and students can letter in the sport.
