'WHY' SPRAY PAINTED ON CAR
At 10:35 a.m. Aug. 20, police were dispatched to the 600 block of Manorwood Lane on a report that someone has spray painted a car. Police saw the word "Why" spray painted in blue on the passenger side of a 2003 Honda SUV. A 2005 Dodge truck on the 500 block of the same street was also tagged with a swastika. The woman who lived at the residence said her family is the only Hispanic family in the neighborhood. She said her family has had other cars broken into in the past and turtle wax poured on the windshield of the cars. The Coal Creek Golf Course sidewalk also was spray painted. There are no suspects at this time. The case is inactive.

'MY BABY'S MOMMA LEFT ME, SO I GOT WASTED'
An 18-year-old Louisville man was arrested at 1:26 p.m. Aug. 20 on suspicion of DUI at the intersection of Washington Avenue and West Hickory Street. Officers were dispatched to the area on a report that a Ford Taurus slid out of control heading northbound on Washington Street and came to a stop in the grass. The suspect was not injured and smelled like alcohol. When an officer asked the man to exit the car, he stumbled. His speech was slow and slurred. He failed a roadside maneuver and blew a .198 on a portable Breathalyzer. While being booked at the Louisville Police Department, he told police, "My baby's momma left me, so I got wasted."
