3 DOGS BITE ON SAME DAY
An officer was dispatched to Boulder Community Hospital, 1100 Balsam St. in Boulder after a 52-year-old Louisville woman was bit in the face at approximately 6:15 a.m. Sept. 1 by her 12-pound Lhasapoo, a poodle mix. At approximately 9:15 a.m. the same day, a 15-year-old Arvada girl was walking near East South Boulder Road and Longs Peak Drive when she was bit in the leg by a small white dog on a blue leash. At 4:56 p.m. that day a 25-year-old Louisville woman on the 500 block of West Spruce Circle reported that she had been bit on the wrist by her neighbor's dog, a small tan border collie mix.

NAKED MAN ARRESTED
A 39-year-old Louisville man was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault and misdemeanor menacing at approximately 10:37 p.m. Aug. 27 on the 1900 block of West Centennial Drive. Police were dispatched to the house after they received several 911 hang-up calls. Police arrived to find an intoxicated naked man in the garage. The woman who called police said the man was her ex-fiancé. She called police when he showed up at her home and let himself in. She said she was scared because he had given her at least four black eyes in the last six months. She hid in the closet with her 16-year-old son, called police and hung up because she didn't want him to hear her. When she came out of the closet, the man grabbed her by the neck and pulled back his fist, so she pulled a hunting knife out from behind her back and scared him off. Police arrived as the man was leaving through the garage. He was taken to Boulder County Jail.

DUI ARREST
A 33-year-old Superior man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence at approximately 10:10 p.m. Sept. 1 in the King Soopers parking lot at 1375 S. Boulder Road. Police saw the man drive excessively fast in the parking lot. When police stopped the man, his speech was slurred and he smelled like alcohol. He failed roadside maneuvers and blew a .143 on a preliminary breathalyzer test. He was booked at the Louisville Police Department and released to a sober party.
