Man arrested for marijuana
A 25-year-old Boulder man was arrested on suspicion of an outstanding warrant and for possessing less than one ounce of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at approximately 1:38 a.m. Sept. 21 on 95th Street south of Baseline Road. An officer on patrol saw a car make a turn at a red light without stopping. When the man was pulled over, two bags of a green leafy substance and a small scale were found in his pocket and a pipe was found in his car. He was taken to Boulder County Jail and issued a summons.

'Save Louisville' written on building
At 1:30 p.m. Sept. 19, an officer was dispatched to 282 Century Place on a property damage report. The building had the following, among other things, written on or around it: "Where the prairie dogs once roamed," "explicative McCain," "explicative This unnecessary business place," "Save Louisville," "Don't support corrupt explicative" and "THINK 4 YOURSELF QUESTION AUTHORITY." The total estimated damage was $14,000, which included shattered windows and damaged doors. The property manager said the building was completed four months ago and the company that owns the building sometimes has to kill prairie dogs in the area. The case is inactive because there is no suspect information.

Shaffer signs taken in Democratic county
At 9:40 p.m. Sept. 21, an officer was dispatched to the 500 block of Catalpa Court on a theft report. Two political signs supporting Bob Shaffer were taken from the front yard. The reporting party had previously called police because two other Bob Shaffer signs were painted with Swastika symbols. The case is inactive because there is no suspect information.
