Suspect 'capable of doing things you can't imagine'
At 4:43 p.m. May 6, police were dispatched to McDonalds, 939 Dillon Road, on a theft call. A McDonalds employee put her cell phone on a table and it was snatched by a woman who was hiding nearby. The employee recognized the woman, who is a regular customer. When the employee called her phone, the woman told her not to try to do anything because she is capable of doing things she couldn't even imagine. The suspect also informed the woman she lived in Boulder, not Louisville. There was no further suspect information at the time of this report.
Woman lays on train tracks, arrested
A 57-year-old Louisville woman was issued a summons at approximately 9:29 p.m. April 29 on suspicion of third-degree criminal trespassing and hindering public transportation after she laid down on railroad tracks. Police were dispatched to the area of Front Street and Spruce Street. The conductor said he saw the woman near the tracks and then he saw her lay down on the tracks, in what looked like a suicide attempt. He pulled the emergency brakes and stopped approximately 150 feet from the woman, who got up and ran off. When police contacted her, she appeared intoxicated. The woman denied laying on the tracks, but said she was upset and trying to get away from people. She was taken to the hospital.
Mom threatens to throw homework in rain
At 11:42 p.m. May 2, police were dispatched to the 2370 block of Tyler Avenue on a mother/daughter dispute report, which wasn't the first at the house. The 47-year-old mom didn't like that her 18-year-old daughter had spent the night with her boyfriend. The daughter locked herself in her room while her mother yelled and banged on the door. When the mother threatened to throw her daughter's books and homework in the rain, the daughter opened her. Her mother hit her with a backpack so the daughter slapped her mother in the arm. Police helped diffuse the situation while the daughter packed her stuff to stay with her boyfriend.
