Contributed by: Tracy Williams on 10/8/2007

The Community College of Aurora Foundation (CCAF) Board has elected Michael F. Quirk to its Board of Directors.

Mr. Quirk is the Vice President, Earthmoving Division of Wagner Equipment Company, a Caterpillar dealer headquartered in Aurora, CO.
In this position, he is responsible for prime product machine sales, as well as parts and service operations for Wagner.

Mr. Quirk has been an active member in numerous industry associations, including serving as Rocky Mountain Regional Director of Associated Equipment Distributors and on other construction, agriculture, and rental industry committees.

"The Board and I are pleased to welcome Mr. Quirk to our organization," said Diana Whye, CCAF's Executive Director. "His participation on the board further solidifies the strong business partnership we have developed over the years with Wagner Equipment Company."

CCAF provides financial support to CCA and its students through fundraising, and serves to build public and business awareness of the college and its benefits to the eastern metro area. Last year CCAF completed a successful $2.5 million capital campaign, and to date has awarded over $800,000 in scholarships to CCA students and faculty.
