No campfires, no fireworks and, starting July 1, no smoking.
If you find yourself at a bar, restaurant or other venue that no longer allows smoking this holiday weekend,
post your experience on
YourHub.com. Or
write a column about how this law affects you and other Coloradans, or
start a blog about how you fight for your smoking rights.
Are you socializing at home instead of your favorite pub, quitting smoking, loving your still-fresh hair and clothes at the end of the night? Tell us about it.
Not sure of what changes come with the new law? According to
RockyMountainNews.com, starting 12:01 a.m. July 1, smoking will be prohibited throughout Colorado in most indoor public places, including restaurants, office buildings, bars and bowling alleys. Some of the exemptions are retail tobacco businesses, cigar bars, smoking lounges at DIA, casinos and businesses with three or fewer workers closed to the public.
