Montbello bounces Denver South

DENVER -- The Montbello boys basketball team ripped open the game by outscoring Denver South 27-7 in the third quarter as the Warriors won at home, 77-53, on Jan. 26.

The Warriors (15-3, 2-0 Denver Prep League) had four players in double-figure scoring. John Littlejohn and Anthony Porch each scored 13 points and Anthony Soaporu and Qunicy Hairston each had 10.

Tony Pham paced the Rebels (8-8, 0-2 DPL) with 22 points. Tino Dressler added 11 points.

Montbello hosts Denver North on Feb. 2 at 7 p.m. while the Rebels host George Washington on Jan. 30 at 7 p.m. and travel to Lincoln on Feb. 2, also at 7 p.m.
