More than 70 members of the annual Abiding Hope Lutheran Church Senior High Servant Tour Ministry are traveling from Littleton to the San Francisco Bay Area to lead in worship, communion and service from Saturday (June 2) to June 10. Besides a worship experience scheduled in Livermore, the youth will also be serving at:

- Project Open Hand, which provides home-delivered meals, groceries and nutrition counseling to people living with HIV/AIDS;
- San Francisco's Glide Memorial United Methodist Church (which plays a key role in the film "The Pursuit of Happyness,"), where they will prepare and serve food to the homeless and families in need;
- The San Francisco Food Bank, where they will assemble boxes of food for the unemployed and homeless;
- The San Francisco Night Ministry (for those 18 and older), spending a night on the streets with those who have nothing;
- St. Mary and St. Martha Lutheran Church in San Francisco, where they will provide and prepare food for the homeless as well as "music to dine by";
- The Greater Richmond Interfaith Program, where they will work on repairs and prepare and serve food to the homeless and to needy families.
There will also be sightseeing opportunities: Fisherman's Wharf, San Francisco's cable cars, Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, the Golden Gate Bridge and movies and shopping in Berkeley, where the First Presbyterian Church, near the University of California campus, will be their host for four nights.
There is a special Web site for the tour,
