The 3rd annual
Jefferson County Community Resource Fair is set for
Tuesday, June 10 from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Jefferson High School, located at
2305 Pierce Street, in Edgewater. This annual fair is becoming a must-attend event for people interested in learning about the many resources offered in Jefferson County.
The
Jefferson County Community Resource Fair provides the opportunity for residents, professionals, and businesses in Jefferson County to distribute and receive information about resources available in the community. The Community Resource Fair is free for everyone and is an excellent opportunity to promote your agency or business as well as gather valuable information on all that Jefferson County has to offer!
One hundred (100) community agencies from in and around the Jefferson County area will be present to provide information and answer questions regarding their services. Agencies planning to be on hand include: Child & Family Services, Adult Services, Cultural Services, Basic Needs Services, and Health & Wellness.
In addition to the agency information, there will be a variety of cultural performances provided throughout the day as well as door prizes, giveaways, and refreshments. Last year's fair featured a Kids Corner which was a great success. This year's Kids Corner will feature story time, face painting, and other interactive activities for parents to do with their children.
The
Jefferson County Community Resource Fair is coordinated by the staff of Jefferson County Department of Human Services as well as other community agencies. The Community Resource Fair provides a one stop opportunity for residents and businesses alike to learn about and take advantage of the quality community resources available to Jefferson County residents. 2 - 6 p.m. at Jefferson High School.
