The Southern rock band Widespread Panic was honored by the Denver Mayor's office June 27 for selling-out the most concerts in Red Rocks history.

The band was presented with a framed limited edition lithograph created by Stanley Mouse. The poster's frame was created with wood recycled from some of Red Rock's old benches.

Denver mayor Hickenlooper's office also declared June 27 as "Widespread Panic Day" in Denver .

As of June 29, the band has sold out 32 shows at Red Rocks, a run that began in 1996.

Willie Nelson holds the record for the second-most shows with 26. He is scheduled to play Red Rocks on Aug. 26, according to his Web site. The Grateful Dead are third on the list with 22 shows.
