The Cougar Athletic Department at Colorado Christian University is pleased to announce the hiring of local businessman and coach, Darren Ritchie.

Ritchie joins the Cougars after serving as the Bailey's/Allied relocation specialist, where he interfaced with a variety of local corporations and business owners to handle the details involved in company transfer requirements.

No stranger to athletics, Darren served as assistant athletic director at his alma mater Northeastern Bible College in New Jersey, before spending the past 12 years as boys basketball coach at nearby D' Evelyn High School. During his last six years at D' Evelyn, Ritchie led the Jaguars to a 122-31 record, including the 2004 3A State Championship.

Darren resides in Morrison with his wife Claire and his five daughters, Jessica, Nicole, Cassidy, Lindsey and Jordan.

Dustin Main is the sports information director for Colorado Christian University.
