Baby Boomer support: HeartSong Retreats expands
Contributed by: Linda Lehman-Murphy on 3/10/2007

Many Baby Boomers have reached their 40s and 50s without having experienced a death in their immediate family or in their close circle of friends. Now, as they age, and as they begin to take on the care of their aging parents, "boomers" are discovering the need to know more about death, loss and grief.

In response to this growing reality, HeartSong Retreats Inc. continues to expand services to those who seek to understand more about this often unfamiliar journey. In addition to the retreats and one-on-one coaching offered to family and professional caregivers, Heartsong Retreats also provides valuable services for those who have experienced the death of a loved one or who anticipate such a loss, and for those who are passing through difficult life transitions.

Linda Lehman-Murphy, founder of HeartSong Retreats, is certified in Death and Grief Studies through the internationally recognized Center for Loss and Life Transition in Fort Collins, Colorado. This certification is accredited through Colorado State University. She also offers Celebrant services -- creating much-needed ritual and ceremony for all life passages.

The next HeartSong Retreats event, "Get A Life - A Caregiver Revival" is scheduled for April 21 in Genesee, near Golden, Colorado. This unique gathering will include information on caregiver boundaries. Attendees will celebrate the joys and share the challenges involved with caregiving. Check out the Events and Registration button on the HeartSong Retreats website: www.heartsongretreats.com, or contact Linda Lehman-Murphy at 720-323-8596.
