Voters Can Vote at Any of 16 Polling Places
West Metro Fire Rescue has established its Administration
Building and all 15 of its fire stations as polling places for its
special election on Tuesday, May 2.
Registered voters can vote at any of the 16 polling places,
which will be open from 7 am - 7 pm on May 2. The deadline to
request an absentee ballot is THIS FRIDAY, April 21. To request an
absentee ballot, voters should call 303-989-4307 ext. 536.

West Metro's registered voters will be asked to:
1) Elect FIVE Board of Director Representatives
2) 5A - Support or Oppose an increase of 1 mill to hire
additional fire fighters, replace fire fighting equipment and
purchase medical equipment including defibrillators
3) 5B - Support or Oppose a $43 million bond initiative
to:
Repair, remodel, replace and equip fire stations
Purchase three fire fighting trucks and two ambulances
Purchase fire fighting equipment, such as thermal imaging,
communications and 911 equipment
Construct a training center for fire fighters
Purchase land and buildings currently leased by the
District
Acquire, upgrade and equip fire protection vehicles and
ambulances
