Contributed by: Sondra Singer on 12/21/2007

Yes, we're all tired of hearing about the Iowa Caucuses. But, did you know that we have a Caucus here in Colorado? Join the Jefferson County Democrats for January'sSecond Saturday Breakfast Forum on January 12 th, 2008. Learn about the state/Jefferson County Democratic Party caucus process in preparation for the February 5 th confab, bringing citizens across the county together to identify their choice for presidential and congressional candidates. Caucuses are a wonderful opportunity to get to know neighbors, discuss presidential candidates, bring forward Democratic platform recommendations, and select delegates to the county convention. Andrew Kerr, State Representative, will provide an overview of the caucus purposes. Dick Barkey, Vince Todd, and Paula Noonan, all officers in the Jefferson County Democratic Party, will provide additional information on what to expect and how to volunteer.

Caucuses represent a terrific opportunity to engage in political discussion with other active voters. It's not to be missed. Joinother Jefferson CountyDemocrats and bring in the New Year at the American Legion at 16 th and Simms.
