Giambartolomei comes in second at Twilight Meet

Mountaineers claim three titles at Mines Twilight Meet

Jeremiah Giambartolomei,

of Kittredge, finished second in the Weight Throw (15.18) and fourth in the Shot Put

(14.40) to lead a small number of Western State track and field members at the Feb. 17 Colorado School

of Mines Twilight Meet.

Ablazah Swofford, of Castle Rock and Mallory Thompson scored

victories to the lead a small number of Western State track and field members at a Feb. 17 Colorado

School of Mines Twilight Meet.

Swofford won the Triple Jump with a career best 45-04. The jump is the sixth longest in Western State

history. Thompson broke her own school record in the Pole Vault, winning the event with a vault of

11-03. Josh Oberleas, of Aurora shared the Pole Vault title with Adams State's

Matt Felton at 4.76 meters. Aaron Clark, of Broomfield was third in

the Mile (4:31.10), Ryan Adragna was third in the High Jump (6-06) and Lisa

Holeman
, of Broomfield, was third in the High Jump (5-02).

The Mountaineers next compete at a Feb. 25 RMAC Indoor Championships at Chadron State.
