West makes RMAC Academic list

Kara West, an Indian Hills resident was one of 19 individuals on a winter sports team at Western State College to be placed on the RMAC All-Academic team, the conference office announced.

To be eligible for the RMAC
All-Academic Teams, student-athletes must compete in an RMAC championship sport; carry at least a 3.20 (GPA); be a starter or key reserve on their team; and must have completed two (2) consecutive semesters or three (3)
consecutive quarters at their RMAC institution.

West is a sophomore on the women's basketball team, with a 3.77 GPA. She majors in Recreation and Exercise Sport Science.
