So, you missed Shakespeare's birthday on April 23 and it seems like forever before the Colorado Shakespeare Festival is back in swing...not to worry, you can fight the "Snow in April" blues by attending Niwot High's production of Shakespeare's
Midsummer Night's Dream at 7 pm this Thursday/Friday/Saturday, April 30/May 1&2 in the Cougar Commons room (by the front entrance)
Tickets are only $5 at the door, with kids under 6 free. All proceeds benefit the Community Food Share.
One of Shakespeare's most popular plays, and one of my favorites, this production promises to be lots of fun and loaded with physical (as well as verbal) comedy.Director Terry Kroenung, Niwot High English teacher, has chosen 18th Century court costuming for the Athenians in the play, which should make it even more entertaining.
