Blog Entry 16 of 17 Take A Bite Out Of Crime

As a child growning up durning the 60's I felt safe in my neighborhood, because all the neighbor's knew each other and watched out for each other and to keep them and there property safe and to keep the crime out of our neighborhood!!! Now these days, you dont know your Neighbor's!!!!!!! We are so busy working and staying to ourselfs that we dont want to Interact with people because of not trusting the right people!!!!!!! As home owner's we need to take a stand against crime and make it a safe place for our children to grown up in, with-out fear that they will be Kidnap in there own front yard or Join a Gang or hang around the wrong kind of people that will Introuduce them to Drug's!!!!!!!! We need to be the Eye's & Ears for our Police Department, they need help so they can help us!!!!!!!!!

With the weather getting nicer and the residents of Northglenn are getting out and walking. a lot are taking there dog's along for some good exercise and enjoying the nice weather, a reminder to the dog owner's it is your pet, and your responsibility, so be a good neighbor and pick up after your dog.

I and my family like taking walk's starting from out house and walking to parks and on trail's and there is dog poop everywhere and even on the side walk's. I don't know how other resident's feel, but I get so tired of picking up dog poop out of my yard almost every day that are left by one's who like to take walk's with there dog's.

A lot of parks and trails you will see that there is doggie bags provided by the City of Northglenn and trash cans, grab some doggie bag's and use it to pick up after your pet and put it in the trash can. If you have plastic bags from shopping at any stores take them with you and a small garden shovel and this is another way for you to pick up after your dog, or check out Petsmart in Northglenn for doggie scoops. That is one long first sentence! We in the lawn care industry have a certain galows humor to the inevitable splattering we take from our mowers and trimmers hitting said feces....
