You and Your Refinance
Contributed by: Arnold Cohen   on 8/10/2007

Mortgages are in the news now. What does this mean for you? It means that if you are considering refinancing please do not hesitate. This is a volitable time for borrowers and you want to be able to get the best refinance you can before you will be closed out.

Here is a case in point. I spoke with a family in June 07. They were interested in refinancing. They were "thinking" about it. They called me back in August 07 and they were ready to refinance. Their credit score droppedjust a bit. This small drop eliminated them from refinancing. Had they proceeded in June 07 they were eligible for a refinance that would have benefited them.

I was very sorry to tell them I could not help them. I wanted to help them but the lenders make the rules. My job is to find the best package for my clients.

I always consult with my clients to find out what their needs are. Next I review all the loan packages available from the many lenders I work with. Lastly I present you with your choices and let you decide what you are comfortable with.

It is really that simple. So please if you are refinancing call me as soon as possible. I will do my best to work with and for you.
