Join the City of Northglenn for our largest community event of the year! The July 4th Family Festival is held at beautiful E.B. Rains Jr. Memorial Park located just southeast of I-25 and 120th Avenue. With 15 hours of activities, we are sure to have something for your entire family. Come early, get a spot by Webster Lake and celebrate your independence! It is the only July 4th celebration in the North Metro Area that runs all day. There are fun activities for kids of all ages.
July 4th has been proclaimed a " Play Day" in Northglenn. Numerous families arrive before sunrise to stake out an area near the lake where they can plant themselves for the day. Activities begin at 6:45 am and conclude with a breathtaking fireworks display at 9:30 pm. Scheduled activities include a pancake breakfast, raft races, bake sale, community stage, kids' area, a Play Place, pedal boat races, inflatables, and a military recognition. The Bike, Trike, Wheelchair and NEW Patriotic Pooch Parade is a fun way for families to express their creativity! Activity and food vendor booths run from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm. Independence and Peace for All activities will honor the numerous cultures that are represented in our community. This year The Hazel Miller Band will perform for the concert from 6:00 - 9:30 pm.
Fireworks will be launched between 9:30 and 10:00 pm. If the fireworks are not launched by 10:00 pm, the show will be fired on July 5th.
The July 4th Family Festival is sponsored by Bellco Credit Union.
