Description:
The Colorado Fibromyalgia Network holds support group meetings for chronic pain sufferers on the
second Sunday of each month. Each month features a different subject of discussion - some past topics include nutrition, chiropractic care, traveling with fibromyalgia, and surviving the holidays.
The Colorado Fibromyalgia Network was founded in Oct. 2008 by Federal Heights resident, Lannette Johnson. Mrs. Johnson was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2006, which ended her long-standing career in medical administration. She now devotes her life to fibromyalgia education, awareness and grassroots political advocacy. She is a member of the National Fibromyalgia Association, and is one of only 100 people worldwide to be chosen to participate in the National Fibromyalgia Association's "Leaders Against Pain Coalition."
