Dot, I've noticed over the last year or more that the city has been replacing the fencing along Washington Avenue between 104th Avenue and Malley. Are there any plans to continue to 120th and then 120th to Irma?
Please say yes! This could be a wonderful new look for our neighborhood!
Proud Northglenn Homeowner,
Tracy Elari
Well, Tracy the fencing project will not quite reach your neck of the woods but it will come close.
According to Community Vitality Center Manager
Curt Childress
, the fencing project on Washington Street will only stretch to Sylvia Drive, which is about one block short of 120th Avenue.
The city has already completed a fencing project along 120th Avenue from Washington Street to Irma Drive, according to Childress.
The fencing project, which is funded in part through block grants, was launched because that particular stretch of Washington Street had different types and sizes of fencing. The city hopes the new fencing will help spruce up the area.
