One thing I have noticed about traffic laws is that the guys that come up with them probably never have to drive on that street every day.
For instance. On Claude Ct. and 120th Here you have two lanes. The right lane going north across 120th has a straight ahead arrow painted on the road and a right turn arrow painted there. So what happens every time, the first guy in line wants to go straight. So then all the other drivers in line behind him have to wait for the light to change. Now the whole idea of "Right turn on Red after stop" is to increase the traffic flow and reduce congestion and save gas. But the way the arrows are set up, no one can turn right on red until the light changes. Why isn't the straight ahead arrow painted on the left turn arrow lane? The people in the left turn lane have to wait for the light to change anyway. If the arrows were moved it would increase traffic flow and save gas and decrease congestion.
Leonard G.Avery (the second guy in line with his right turn signal turned on.)
