Mera named Small Business Person of the Year

Artistic Flowers and Gift's owner, Franklin Mera, was awarded Small Business Person of the Year at the annual Gala of the Metro North Chamber of Commerece.

He was awarded this on February 1st at the Westin Hotel in Westminster.

The guest speaker of this event was the Gov. Bill Ritter.

Artistic Flowers has served metro Denver in ten years of business from its location, 6821 N. Broadway St. in unincorporated Adams County. Franklin Mera also serves his community in other ways such as being a Rotarian, teaching children karate at his dojo in Northglenn and he is also on the board of Colorado Retail Florist Association.
