While waiting in the examination room for a chiropractic appointment, a new patient, Ms. Miller saw Dr. Reif's certificate, which showed his full name. Suddenly, the patient remembered that a tall, handsome boy with the same name had been in her high school class 20 years ago.

Upon seeing the doctor, however, the patient had her doubts. The gray haired man with a deeply lined face seemed to old to have been in her classmate. After the Doc examined her spine, the patient asked if he attended Osborne High School.

"YES," the chiropractor replied. "I graduated in 1985."

The patient exclaimed, "Why, you were in MY class!!"

Dr. Reif looked at the patient closely and asked, "What did YOU teach?"

Dr. Reif graduated as Valedictorian (4.0 GPA) from a small Kansas high school class of 31. "If everybody didn't do everything; nobody did anything." Hence, the community thrived around the school and the church, with opportunity for youth being the motivation behind most events. "I was able to perform in band, football, wrestling, track, baseball, National Honor Society, FFA, VoAg, Business Contests, Hugh OBrian Leadership Camp, Industrial Arts, Land and Crop Judging, O-Club, as well as work at Town & Country Market, and the family farm. My parents always encouraged me to be whatever I wanted to be."
